Texas native Howard Griffith first started in the entertainment business as a driver in the transportation department in 1972. He worked his way up the ranks starting as a Transpo Captain and Coordinator, Production Supervisor, Unit Production Manager, to ultimately a Line Producer and Executive Producer.  Howard has worked on over 50 productions to date. As a member of The Directors Guild of America, he received the prestigious DGA award for Best Comedy Series  in 2009 for his contribution on the directorial team of the "Modern Family" pilot.  He has also received the Beacon of Light award; bestowed upon him by the Houston Multicultural Film Festival;  for his dedication to developing film and television production in the Houston area.
